"WAST Helps At Risk Youth, Students, and Student Athletes Stay in the Game"
WAST NCAA Eligibility Workshops

WAST conducts year-round National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Eligibility Workshops for Student-Athletes. High School Student-Athletes cannot get a Scholarship to College if they do not know the Division I Academic Standards, written in the 2022-2023 Guide For The College-Bound Student-Athlete which changes from year to year.

Division I schools require college-bound student-athletes to meet academic standards for NCAA approved 16-core courses, core-course GPA, and SAT/ACT test scores used on a sliding scale. To be eligible to practice, compete and receive an athletics Scholarship in your first full-time year at a Division I school, a student-athlete must graduate from high school and meet all the Division I Academic Standards. The NCAA does not use the high school GPA when offering a high school student athlete an athletic college sports Scholarship.
